Write three facts, two quirks, and two habits about you, then tag 8 people to do it too.

Facts:

• I have four pairs of socks that I alternate between - green, orange, dark brown and cream striped, and white and grey striped. The green clashes horribly with my red (low-top) chucks and my brown-and-cream stripes just looks very strange, but I couldn't really care less. :P They're comfortable and they don't tear like my old crappy white socks.


• I am extraordinarily good at picking tomatoes at vegetable markets, but I'm too picky with potatoes. I blame this entirely on science lessons from when I was ten - no green, no eyes, no buds = good, not-too-young,-not-too-old potato. The 'no eyes' thing is the clincher. It's painful trying to find proper potatoes without those little grooves in them - so I only end up getting five when someone else could've gotten ten. I think it's a good thing.


• I am a vegetarian. Not a vegan - I could eat eggs, but I don't, except if they're in cake or something like that, basically when they're not a primary ingredient. I could eat mushrooms, but I don't like them. :/ I love milk, in my tea, in my hot chocolate, for my yoghurt/curds. Seafood is non-vegetarian (and I am a little tired of people asking me if I can eat fish!).
  Sometimes it's a little annoying not finding vegetarian food where I go and having to settle for steamed vegetables with no taste, but I know that even if I had the choice to be a non-vegetarian without any repercussions for going my against my religion, or something, I'd still stay away from meat.

Quirks:

• I try very hard to get the right first impression across when I'm meeting people for the first time, basing it entirely on which side of me or what characteristic mine I think they'd probably feel more comfortable with. I'm generally a good judge of character, I think, when it comes to other things - but for some reason, this one's usually wrong.


• I have a YouTube search results page up in a tab on my Firefox right now for Lizzie McGuire episodes. Chances are I'll keep it there for a few days, then exit it without watching any of it. It's how I am with most of my tabs. There are some very good icons out there that I've seen, loved, and never saved.

Habits:

• If you get something wrong, I will correct you - not just grammar or pronunciation but facts. And song lyrics. It's very Ted Mosby, but it drives me crazy and I can't help it. :/ I've been restraining myself more these days, limiting it to the stupider mistakes.


• I have very snappy remarks in my head in response to a lot of things people say, but I think they're too mean most of the time, so I keep them to myself and work on them to make them sound better. By the time I'm finished, the conversation around me's moved on way past that point, and I don't say anything at all. This is probably part of the reason why people think I'm quieter and more withdrawn than I really am. Another part is that sometimes I just don't feel inclined to say anything. People tell me I'm "very nice, but quiet". This is mostly wrong. :P

It's been raining a lot recently. I love the rain when I'm not carrying things that can get wet, so when it rains on the weekends I'm very happy. :D

I'm kind of bummed the Olympics are over. I'm even more depressed that there'll be no new Psych for the next two weeks. D: Ah, how will I survive!

P.S.: I love some of the 18 unused Dark Knight posters. The overly-blurry ones are crap, but I love the first one from the left on the first row, and third from the left on the third row. Some of the Batman ones would look cooler if they didn't randomly drop a couple of Jokers in the background. D:

b)YEY FOR BEING VEGETARIANS AND NOT EATING ANIMALS. though i have to say omelettes are quite yummy. the ones in india are really nice with a dash of masala powder. heh. the egg/fish things gets to me too.

c)I have very snappy remarks in my head in response to a lot of things people say sometimes i think you're too nice to be real. and you're too nice to be true. or too nice to be such a good friend of mine. but you are, and i love you:) i've never been able to be as nice. i tend to say stuff out loud which people get pissed at. i get it from my dad.

...and i am going to hunt down pictures from my 1st birthday and find a picture of YOU....and maybe me.

a) They're not high-tops, they're low tops. You can definitely see them.

b) :P I could eat eggs, I've just never felt inclined to, hehe.

c) Maybe it's because I'm so nice that I'm still friends with you. :P LOL, no, half the time you say what I'm thinking but I either don't dare to say it or think about it twice five or six times and it never gets out.

a) i always thought they were chucks. who cares, my friend from tuition once couldn't find matching socks, so she came in like one purple and one green sock, and we all loved it so much she wears mismatched socks all the time! and it looks nice.

a) They are chucks! Mine are the low top kind, the most commonly used/worn ones are the high top kind.

I'm so upset about the Olympics. I don't know what I'm going to while I wait for the 2010. I love the winter olympics (I lovfe both of them, but winter has more events I can sit down and watch without getting bored [WTF rhythmic gymnastics?! How are you a sport]) and in a ridiculous girl moment, they have freaking adorably mascots. I just couldn't get into the Beijing mascots.

No eyes on potatoes? What?! Aren't they supposed to have eyes?

And as for the batman posters, the blurry ones are dumb, but the one I really don't like is of Batman's chest. It's too much like when they did the shot of Clooney-Batman's butt in whatever movie he was in.

Rhythmic gymnastics is pretty cool to watch but there's no way I consider that a sport. :/ I don't recall ever paying proper attention to the Winter Olympics, so there's something to look forward to in two years! I'm still deeply saddened by the loss of the Olympics as something I could watch whenever I switched on the TV. Boo!

I think the older the potato, the more eyes and buds they have? :/ DAMN. Am I remembering my science wrong?!

That one sucks, too. I hate how much fatter it looks, too, haha.
