Just dropping by so I can tell more people who will be depressed with me about this - Parks and Recreation isn't coming back till midseason (i.e. NEXT JANUARY).

Agghhh. It's probably because of Amy's pregnancy, and that's a great enough reason, but I'm bummed because this show needs ratings and starting it midseason is just going to go "hey, guys, our show sucks enough that we didn't get to premiere it on time!"

No, not that, mostly I'm annoyed/sad that we need to go SEVEN MONTHS WITHOUT IT. Why do you do this to me, NBC!? If you cut down the number of episodes I will burn you to the ground, I promise.

ETA: I just realised this means all of you on my flist have more time to catch up with it. Do it.

I'm still gonna be optimistic, because this was the boat 30 Rock was in a few seasons ago and they stuck it out because...they believed in Tina Fey and were getting critically acclaimed? Well, Amy Poehler and Tina Fey comedically, writer-ally are on the same level, IMO, and I hope that they would have faith in her and her brilliance.

Did 30 Rock get promised a renewal and then get pushed back? :/ I know I'm being an enormous downer, but 30 Rock was one of the few truly critically-acclaimed things on TV when it was new. P&R has competition, including 30 Rock itself. :/ I do think Amy and Tina are on the same level, though. Agh. Don't be a bitch, NBC!
