Just dropping by so I can tell more people who will be depressed with me about this - Parks and Recreation isn't coming back till midseason (i.e. NEXT JANUARY).

Agghhh. It's probably because of Amy's pregnancy, and that's a great enough reason, but I'm bummed because this show needs ratings and starting it midseason is just going to go "hey, guys, our show sucks enough that we didn't get to premiere it on time!"

No, not that, mostly I'm annoyed/sad that we need to go SEVEN MONTHS WITHOUT IT. Why do you do this to me, NBC!? If you cut down the number of episodes I will burn you to the ground, I promise.

ETA: I just realised this means all of you on my flist have more time to catch up with it. Do it.

Seriously - as it is I think people tuned out after the first season and never caught on to how great it is, and cutting the show short will only give a bad impression. And the worst thing about this is that the writers really seem to be settling into a groove at this point. I hope the too-long break doesn't knock them off-track!

And yes, it really is! Watching P&R and Community back-to-back every Friday was pretty much my favourite hour of TV-watching every week.

Ughhh, NBC. You keep doing dumb things and it makes me want to punch you. I know it's mean of me, but if Outsourced could kind of be terrible maybe we could get this show back earlier.

Mike Schur claims that it wasn't moved because of Amy, and that she'd been working really hard to get as much done as she could before she left. I think they were actually totally blindsided by this, which makes me even more irritated. NBC is seriously just messing with everyone these days.

Regardless, I think it's going to suffer. I really hope they don't get knocked off track, too -- and that the viewers don't! I mean, we'll be there, but will the general public? It's so fucking hard to keep their attention when there's such a long hiatus!

... Outsourced will probably be terrible.

I saw that, and it only pissed me off further. This is just so aggravating. Why do you hate the good things, NBC!?

Also, have you seen the Outsourced clips on YouTube? I hope it stays that terrible for a long time, because maybe then it'll get cancelled ASAP. (Although Accidentally on Purpose stayed for almost an entire season, and who the fuck was watching that?!)
