The episode and the actors really emphasised that all three of them had their own problems and views, which I really, really liked up till that scene - I think my reaction was based entirely on the fact that the response that I saw from most viewers online was "Finn sucks! Burt rocks!", and the fact that it was probably Burt's speech that skewed the viewers that way. :/ I do think a lot of people get all three perspectives, though.
