I really liked The Office this week too, for all of the reasons you said. Michael/Toby was probably my favourite. AND PAM! I really liked Pam's little scheme to become office administrator. I think she needs more scenes with Gabe, because they play well off of each other. Seriously, season 7 keep it up! AND OH GOD THE DAYCARE CENTRE LAUGHING FOREVER.

A lot of people seemed to dislike this episode of Community because the tone was off or they dislike Jeff-centric episodes. I didn't mind at all that it didn't take place in Greendale for the most part and I thought it was a great Jeff-centric episode. They haven't discussed his lawyer-ly ways in awhile so I thought that was super. And it wasn't mean-spirited, like you said! Troy/Annie/Abed was amazing. OMG "My brain is crying" and all of Troy's flounces! Annie and the chlorofoam! THE TUNNEL AND TROY'S FACE. I also loved the Senor Chang bits, because I think that is the exact right use of his character. Oh man, that little flash inside his brain while he was pop and locking. Priceless.

I caught 30 Rock, and I loved the bits with Tracy in the Cash Cab (I thought that was just a Canadian show!). And Paul Giamatti was great. It was fabulous to see a guest star blend into a role seamlessly like that.

FRIIIIIIINGE. I suppose I understand the Fauxlivia hate on a basic level, because she's... not a nice person. And everytime she goes to kiss Peter I want to be like GTFO STRANGER BITCH. But at the same time I can't hate because she's a super fascinating character from another world. A world that, like you said, has a completely different set of rules. A much harder world. And man, Anna sells it. The way her voice sounded when she was talking about needing to have a photographic memory? Perfect!

I have a feeling it's going to be Walter who notices Fauxlivia first. Peter is being kind of oblivious, but I chalk that up to a whooooole lotta shit going on in his brain. I mean, studying that Machine Run By Him with the Firey Eyeballs thing. But still... PETER LIV REFUSED BOOZE. GET WITH IT.

I really loved the Walter/Astrid stuff, because we always get to see more glimpses of her character. It isn't just a "babysitting" thing either. He really does trust and, I believe, respect her despite the fact that he called her Aspirin. He's willing to share all of these things with her and it makes me sniffle. I can't wait to see the fallout of WALTER OWNING MASSIVE DYNAMIC.

All of the stuff was shot brilliantly and it was so tense omg. I'm used to being spoiled for a lot of plot points on this show, but I too jumped when that poor midget's head exploded.

(By the way, I love that you're posting about this show because man oh man I love talking about it).
