Tobey was in Brothers last year, except he played the loudest, hammiest role (and it felt like he was openly begging for an Oscar nomination, which I feel bad for saying, but really.) - against the quieter performances of Jake Gyllenhaal and Natalie Portman, he felt off-key and misplaced, and I now don't want to see him in this movie.

Ty Burrell made Phil Dunphy wonderful. I adore what he did for the character.
