There's this weird thing happening online (uhm, mostly Tumblr) where people seem to enjoy tearing down one of the Salvatore brothers to defend the one they like more. (And there's the other extreme, where people attempt to justify everything that their favourite character does, even when it's so clearly wrong, but I'll probably get into that after I get caught up.)
