- My love for The Office episode this week can be summed up into three-ish words - active!angry!Jim. ♥ And damn it, Michael Scott in casual wear. When's the last time we saw him in a t-shirt? because I remember going a little heavy on love then too. Probably because it connects Michael to Dan from Dan in Real Life, and you know how much I loved Dan.
No, seriously, Office was great. Loved that the main problem was believable and work-related, not to mention something that Michael's needed for a long time (as much as I may love him). Lots of funnies, including slapping between knock knock jokes and my favourite line, "I keep secrets from my computer". Kevin being adorable with his new possible lady love, Andy getting frustrated and calling Jim/Pam hot people in a perfect relationship, David Wallace, etc.. Even the golden ticket thing makes sense if it'd worked out right, I think. maybe. I'm a little excited because they seem to building up to the height of an arc, and they're doing it great so far. - I never have anything to complain about for 30 Rock. Liz's joy from Jack taking her microwave idea was delightful. More work-related, behind-the-scenes related stuff!! I laughed a lot in general. For some reason seeing Liz!Leia again wasn't as great for me, but the awesomeness of Dr Spaceman never goes away ("between my medical career and this job"). And the Scrabble tiles! And the cussing (which I want to see un-beeped on DVDs). And "we should make t-shirts!" A+, guys.
snoorella and I both felt awful for Liz by the end, though. She puts up with a lot and does a lot more and she gets called the c-word behind her back!! aw. D: I guess she gets a BFF out of Jack, but still: give me a hug, Lemon. and some of your clothes.
- After seeing Jon Stewart + Jim Cramer on The Daily Show (which I loved mostly for the way it was presented - methodical and not finger-pointy and logical; argument construction points!), I watched Jon Stewart on Crossfire, so it's been a good day.
- Our college turns 25 years old this year (I know, young!) and our sports day was a big deal because of that. People from the first batch to the last came to run around the campus with a torch passed on from year to year (o symbolism!) and the last principal did the final run and lit this big torch-thing on fire. It was very cool, even if original, because of the effort put in and the colossal scale it was played up to. The sports themselves were diverse and interesting. I didn't want all the games but I had a blast. We even went to the old IP classrooms to waste some time together for a while; that was fantastic. ♥ Fun!
- Ricky Gervais talking to Elmo made my month. Adorable and hilarious - and their laughter!!

I'm glad Mrs Chan came back to run! :D She's awesome. I miss the years when the principal always ran with us and came in first during cross-country because the other teachers would let her. They should have at least made CPM brisk walk 100m with the torch. :x

Date: 2009-03-15 04:47 pm (UTC)She used to run? How awesome! She seems like a really great person/principal - a little sad that we never got to be under her 'rule', heh. (also: ROTFL. I would say something more if this entry weren't public.)
