Malcolm Reynolds is my soulmate. I'm absolutely convinced of this and if I ever meet a Malcolm Reynolds, I will run away with him on his ship and happily live my life day to day. Because everything you said about him? Absolutely true. And in 14 episodes he captured my imagination in a way no other character has.
This bit about him being Han Solo's son is fun though ;)
