I have never, ever thought about their similarities before, BUT YOU'RE RIGHT. And there was a period of time when I got really annoyed with Marshall (I think it was S5) because of how much more he was being Jason Segel than Marshall, if that makes sense, but that's gone away now, because Marshall is kind of perfect this season. And therefore your post about it will be much awaited!
