Initial Employee Transfer thoughts -
I am in love with the fact that Will Arnett being in 30 Rock is no longer a big deal for me - he's just there and being awesome and he's a great part of the cast and he never feels like a guest star but I'm still happy to see him on the show. :D

edited to say: My love for Steve Carell is completely justified by this video - singing Let My Love Open the Door. Ignore the Dane Cook and look at Steve being sad and sweet and strumming on his guitar. ♥ I adore Steve Carell as Dan. I love him completely.
- So the entire thing about an employee being transferred was skipped completely and we only saw the final result. I am kind of annoyed with this. Maybe the entire ethics thing involved in it would've been tired and repetitive, but I'd like to have seen some kind of reaction from David Wallace or the workers and all that, and it bugs that we didn't see it.
- The cold open made my life. It was perfect, every single second of it. Three Joker costumes! Carrie Bradshaw/Gordon Gecko! Dave!! Charlie Chaplin/Hitler!!! Why didn't we see twenty-two minutes of that episode?! Way to celebrate Halloween, Office!
- Michael/Holly, my heart breaks just thinking of you two not being you two anymore, and the fact that Michael realises he will probably go back to Jan makes it even worse for me. D: Holly was crying!! I HATE YOU, SHOW, FOR SHOWING ME MICHAEL/HOLLY AND TAKING IT AWAY. For a while Michael was happy and with someone who's made for him. D: For a while.
- Life is a Highway was awesome-fantastic. When Darryl starts doing his weird independent guitar solo there's this awesome shot of Holly doing the drums, and I love all that it chooses to be.
- Oh, God, they were really perfect together.
- I liked the Andy-Dwight storyline, except I didn't understand the point of it. Malfeasance of malfeasance's sake? Poor show, Dwight. Acting like Jim will not get Angela back.
- Speaking of Jim - I saved this for last, obviously - JIM'S BROTHERS. Were they absolute douchebags or were they absolute douchebags? There wasn't a second of their entire two minutes together that showed me they were family - not their looks, not their chemistry, none of it. And Jim is kind of a douche occasionally, too, but he has charm and charisma to make that less obvious. Did he inherit all of the good genes? I am hoping so hard that the nephew photos he had on his phone back in Branch Wars were his sister Larissa's, except I think he said they were his brother's. Damn.
Was the point of this to show how much better Jim is than his brothers? Because they could've done that so much better. Now I will be forever pissed off that these two, these two will go down in Office history was Jim Halpert's brothers. Unbelievable. I hope a few months from now Jim and Pam will get married and at the wedding Jim will be all "HAHAH I REALLY GOT YOU, PAM, THAT WAS A PRANK AND MY REAL BROTHERS ARE RIGHT HERE" and they'll be perfect and awesome. - On that note, I have to say that I am impressed by the fact that every week there are a million unhappy Jim/Pam fans saying "ohno there's going to be angst" but they stay so far away from that in a realistic way. They were sweet. Their walk down the street was nice, and I loved when Pam was naming musicians and Jim was all "oooh, teamwork!" with his counting.
- I liked this episode. S5 is solid for me so far. I'm just annoyed by the Halpert brothers and depressed by
Hollyand Dwight - OK, so the performances are top-notch, and I enjoy myself while watching the episodes thoroughly, but the writing is very on-off. We have seen singing cheer up someone in a car before. Product Recall ring a bell?! - What I mean is (and this is basically the bottom line of this entry): BJ, GET WRITING NOW, PLEASE.
